From Sheep to Fibre, a day of Wool
Spend the day learning about wool and how it is grown, harvested and made into usable natural fibre for use in the textile industry and by crafters. The morning will be spent with the flock of three different breeds on our organic farm, and after a delicious lunch you will experience hands-on how to weave and felt the wool here in the studio.

A Creative Day of Felting
An introduction to the world of felting. An ancient craft dating back to 6500 BC, no glues or chemicals are used. Spend the morning learning about this incredible textile technology to make a small bowl. After a delicious lunch, using wool from the flock on the farm, learn how to wet felt a beautiful fluffy, comfortable wool seat pad.

A Creative Day of Weaving
This workshop is about weaving methods and types of looms, from primitive to industrial size floor. Learn about sheep wool, how it is grown, harvested, & processed into yarn. After a delicious lunch, learn how to create unique woven textile pieces on handmade looms.

A Day of Textile Printing
Design and print using Indian wood blocks and found objects to create beautiful home textiles. You will learn about composition, methods and ink types, pattern repeat and abstract print, leaving with unique personally designed printed fabric items: a cushion cover, a set of napkins, and a table runner.
